Makis Zacharatos was born in Athens. From an early age, he turned to drawing and visual arts. He studied at the Doxiadis School of Applied Arts and at the Faculty of Architecture in Florence. He founded the Zdesign company, specializing in silkscreen printing, experimenting with new materials and techniques. Painting remains at the center of his interests. His works are part of private collections in Greece and abroad.
