Yiannis Stamoulis was born in Athens in 1969. He is a retired senior officer of the Fire Service, a researcher, and the author of numerous books on civil protection, history, and art. In recent years, he has pursued painting as a hobby in all its forms. He illustrates books and has participated in numerous group painting exhibitions. He also writes articles for various media outlets.
