Ioannis Stamoulis was born in 1969 in Athens. A retired senior officer of the Hellenic Fire Service, he is also a researcher and author of numerous books on civil protection, history, and art. He studied the history of Western art at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and has been practicing painting as an amateur in recent years in all its forms. He illustrates books and fairy tales and has exhibited his work in one solo and many group painting exhibitions. He also contributes articles to various publications.
