Sophia Atsali was born in January 1985 and graduated with honors from the School of Civil Engineering in 2014. She holds certifications in English and Italian, while also speaking Spanish and Arabic. In 2021, her first novella was published by a prominent publishing house, followed by her second in 2023. She has been recognized in the field of literature, receiving the First Prize in a short story competition in 2020, a Second Prize in another competition, and an additional distinction. Sophia has been writing poetry since a young age, with many of her poems included in collective works. In recent years, she has turned to visual arts, dedicating time to painting and sculpture. She has attended online courses in sketching and painting, specializing in color, and has also pursued marble sculpture. In 2022, two of her paintings were exhibited by Art Grid, and she continues her artistic journey by attending decorative art classes. Professionally, she has worked in a surveying office, a port engineering workshop, and as a translator and online community manager. In her free time, she enjoys reading, baking, and creating marble sculptures.
