Olga Barmazi is a painter, a graduate of the School of Visual and Decorative Applications of Katerina Rota and of the Vortex School of Artistic Jewellery. She is also a graduate of the Department of Political Science of the Faculty of Law of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and of the Joint Postgraduate Programme in Creative Writing. Since 1997 she has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Greece and abroad, Europe, the USA, Japan and Australia. Her works have been awarded in international painting competitions and are included in private collections. Since 2007 she has been teaching painting in workshops for children and adults at the Apothiki Technon AMKE, of which she is founder, and since 1917 at the Kalogeropouleio Foundation of Arts and Culture in Corinth. She has illustrated six children’s books, has designed stage sets for theatre and dance performances and has created series of artistic jewellery exhibited in Greece and the USA. In collaboration with the composer and pianist Panagiotis Theodosiou she has developed and curated, in video form, the visual narration and presentation of musical performances. Since 2023 she has collaborated with the collective ARC – Art Revisited Collective.
