Corina Nani is a visual artist and Associate Professor PhD at the Department of Design and Applied Arts, Faculty of Arts and Design in Timișoara. With an extensive artistic career, she has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions, contributing to the global dialogue on contemporary art and visual culture. Since 2011, she has coordinated the International Street Art Festival of Timișoara (FISART), a key event for street art in Romania. Through this festival, she has transformed urban spaces into artistic platforms, bringing internationally renowned artists to Timișoara and promoting creative exchanges between local and global talents. Beyond academia and cultural event organization, Corina Nani is also known for her large-scale murals and artistic interventions in public spaces, redefining the city’s visual identity. Her constant engagement in education, artistic practice, and cultural development positions her as a significant figure in promoting contemporary art in Romania and beyond.
