Konstantina Maliarou was born in Piraeus in 1978. She graduated from the Byzantine Iconography School of Piraeus in 1999, after four years of studying freehand drawing, color, portable icons using traditional Byzantine iconography techniques, mural painting, and fresco. She also received theoretical training in art history (from ancient Greek to the 20th century) and architectural rhythms (ancient Greek and Byzantine). Since 2010, she has participated in and presented her work in over twenty (20) exhibitions and events in Greece.
