Pepy Daniil was born, lives, and works in Athens. She holds a degree from the Law School of Athens and worked for many years in the banking sector. She studied Photography at the University of West Attica and attended a Social Media Journalism workshop at a private post-graduate institution. In recent years, having completed courses in furniture making and restoration at private technical schools, she has been involved in active recycling and the creative reusing of functional objects. She describes herself as a (visual) storyteller. Photography, comics, and web radio are some of the tools she uses to tell stories, comment on political and social realities, and provoke thought, reflection, and emotion. She participates—sometimes anonymously—in exhibitions with relevant themes, art/science/communication projects, and collectives involved in volunteer and activist initiatives. She gifts her artworks to friends.
