Dimitris Galanakis is a visual artist whose primary mediums of expression are painting and drawing using the stippling technique. He was born in Athens in 1961 and has been involved in art since 1981, studying under various artists. With their support, through continuous effort and in-depth study, he developed his technical skills and shaped his artistic style through multiple influences. His work as a four-color retoucher at ADAM Publications, where he collaborated with prominent painters, also significantly impacted his artistic development. Throughout his career, he has worked with various media, including watercolor, oil painting, and pencils. However, in recent years, he has fully dedicated himself to stippling, which has become a defining characteristic of his work. He has exhibited in two solo and numerous group exhibitions, and his works are held in private collections. Since May 2023, he has been collaborating with the ARC – Art Revisited Collective.
