Konstantinos Troupis was born and raised in the Patras region. He studied pedagogy and film directing. He worked in education at schools in Athens, Mykonos, and Brussels. He has been a short film filmmaker, a chess player and coach, an “eternal student” at the Theological School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and an amateur football organizer. He has published the books “Chess/The Nature of the Pieces” (2012), “Second Screening” (Poetry Collection, 2015), and “The Gougelas” (Children’s Historical Adventure, 2019). Over the years, he has attended painting classes in various workshops. His focus is on the movements of the 19th and 20th centuries (“scholarly” contemporary painting). Since the covid-19 pandemic, he has intensified his efforts in painting, working with various materials.
