Olga Barmazi

Olga Barmazi is a painter, children’s book illustrator, a graduate of the School of Applied and Decorative Arts of Katerina Rota, and the School of Art Jewelry Vortex. She is also a graduate of the Department of Political Science of the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a postgraduate of the Joint Postgraduate Program in Creative Writing. Since 1996, she has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Greece and abroad [Europe, USA, Japan, and Australia]. Her works have been awarded in international painting competitions and are part of private collections. Since 2007, she has been teaching painting at the workshops for children and adults of the AMKE Art Warehouse, of which she is a founder, and at the Kalogeropoulos Foundation for Arts and Culture in Corinth. She has designed sets for theater and dance performances and has created series of art jewelry exhibited in Greece and the USA. In collaboration with the composer and pianist Panagiotis Theodosiou, she has produced and curated video art narratives/presentations of musical performances. Since 2023, she collaborates with the collective ARC – Art Revisited Collective.
