Maria Chaniou lives and works in Athens. She holds a degree in Political Science from the Faculty of Law of the University of Athens and has worked in the banking sector. She has attended courses in art jewelry, Byzantine iconography, printmaking, painting, and mixed media. She has presented her work in group exhibitions in Greece, the USA, and China. Her works are found in private collections.
