Athina Danavara was born in Sykourio, Larissa, and lives in Thessaloniki. She studied at the Department of Physics and the Department of Primary Education at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She completed additional studies at the “Dimitris Glinos” Teacher Training Institute and earned a postgraduate specialisation in Environmental Education at the Department of Early Childhood Education at AUTh. She works as a teacher in Thessaloniki. She has been painting for many years and in recent years has focused primarily on watercolour. She has participated in several group exhibitions in Athens and Thessaloniki.
