Olga Barmazi is a painter and children’s book illustrator. She graduated from the School of Fine and Decorative Arts of Katerina Rota and the Vortex School of Artistic Jewelry. She also holds a degree in Political Science from the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and is in the final stages of completing the Joint Master’s Program in Creative Writing. Since 1996, she has exhibited her work in solo and group exhibitions in Greece and abroad, including Europe, the USA, Japan, and Australia. Her works have been awarded in international painting competitions and are in private collections. Since 2007, she has been teaching painting in art workshops for children and adults at the Apothiki Technon, a nonprofit art space she founded, and at the Kalogeropouleio Foundation of Arts and Culture in Corinth. She has also designed sets for theater and dance performances and created series of artistic jewelry exhibited in Greece and the USA. In collaboration with composer and pianist Panagiotis Theodosiou, she has developed and curated visual storytelling for musical performances in video format. Since 2023, she has been collaborating with the ARC – Art Revisited Collective.
