Kyriakos Pierides is a retired ophthalmologist, born in Nicosia, Cyprus, in 1936. He began painting in 2000 and has showcased his work in seven solo exhibitions and twelve group exhibitions in Cyprus and abroad. He is also an amateur photographer and birdwatcher.
