Yiannis Stamoulis was born in 1969 in Athens. A retired senior officer of the Fire Department, he is a researcher and author of numerous books on civil protection, history, and art. In recent years, he has been pursuing painting as a hobby in all its forms. He illustrates books and has exhibited his work in one solo exhibition and several group painting exhibitions. He writes articles in various media and maintains a blog.
