Olga Barmazi is a painter, a graduate of Katerina Rota’s School of Visual and Decorative Applications and of the Vortex School of Visual Jewelry. She also holds a degree from the Department of Political Science at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and is currently completing a joint Master’s Program in Creative Writing. Since 1997, she has exhibited in solo and group shows in Greece and abroad \[Europe, USA, Japan, and Australia]. Her works have received awards in international painting competitions and are held in private collections. Since 2007, she has been teaching painting to children and adults at the Apothiki Technon (Arts Warehouse) NGO, which she founded, and since 2017 at the Kalogeropouleio Foundation for Arts and Culture in Corinth. She has illustrated six children’s books, designed sets for theater and dance performances, and created visual jewelry collections exhibited in Greece and the USA. In collaboration with composer and pianist Panagiotis Theodossiou, she has curated and produced video-form visual narratives for musical performances. Since 2023, she has been working with the ARC – Art Revisited Collective.
