Olga Barmazi is a painter, a graduate of the School of Visual and Decorative Arts of Katerina Rota and of the Vortex School of Visual Jewellery. She also holds a degree from the Department of Political Science of the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and from the Joint Postgraduate Programme in Creative Writing. Since 1997 she has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Greece and abroad, in Europe, the United States, Japan, and Australia. Her works have been awarded in international painting competitions and are included in private collections. Since 2007 she has been teaching painting at the workshops for children and adults of the Arts Warehouse AMKE, of which she is the founder, and since 2017 at the Kalogeropouleio Foundation of Arts and Culture in Corinth. She has illustrated six children’s books, designed sets for theatre and dance performances, and created series of visual jewellery exhibited in Greece and the United States. In collaboration with composer and pianist Panagiotis Theodosiou, she has conceived and curated, in video form, the visual narration and presentation of musical performances. Since 2023 she has been collaborating with the collective ARC – Art Revisited Collective.
