Maria Kalliadou was born in Thessaloniki and currently lives and works in Athens. Her studies in Fine Arts were pursued alongside Classical Philology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and Psychology at Deree – The American College of Greece. Her artistic journey developed through mentorship with established artists. She studied drawing and painting under painters Giannis Varla and Dimitris Maninis. She also attended courses in Byzantine Iconography under the guidance of iconographer Areti Floka. She studied at Borgias Fine Arts, where she completed the Fine Art program, specializing in painting and printmaking under the tutelage of Vangelis Theodoridis and Daniela Stamatiadi. She has exhibited her work in 20 group exhibitions in Greece and abroad.
