Maria Darla is a visual artist who lives and works in Chalkida and expresses herself through painting, ceramics, and jewellery. She is a founding member of the Chalkida Cultural Centre. She has attended courses in Painting, Freehand Drawing, Jewellery, Ceramics, and Art History at the Chalkida Art Workshop and at schools in Athens. She has presented her work in two solo exhibitions, Ceramics in 1994 and Painting in 2008. She has participated in dozens of group exhibitions in Chalkida, Athens, Piraeus, Delphi, Thessaloniki, Andros, Mykonos, and Rome.
