Giorgos Valvis, born in Piraeus in 1976, showed his talent from a very young age. At the age of eighteen, he completed his studies in Graphic Arts at the 4th Technical Vocational School of Athens. His works are mainly inspired by Ancient Greece and the Renaissance. He places particular emphasis on selecting unconventional angles. As a person, he prefers classical painting, though he has also experimented with other techniques. He has also worked with wood carving.His artistic career is multifaceted. It includes comics, fairy tales, book illustration, clothing design, book writing, music, and lyrics. He has also worked on theatrical sets and written a musical play. Giorgos began participating in painting exhibitions and since then has presented his work in Athens, Tinos, Syros, Thessaloniki, Cyprus, and Corfu. His style is considered Renaissance-inspired, which he usually expresses in ink, but also with acrylics or oils.
