Despina Moisidou was born in Athens and has been involved in painting since her teenage years. She has attended seminars and painting courses in Greece and abroad with renowned artists who guided her in technique and artistic development. Her work is characterized by a narrative style, combining rich details and colors to create atmospheres of fairy tales or memories. Her artistic journey gained significant momentum during the pandemic when she found the opportunity to dedicate herself fully to painting, something she had always dreamed of as a child. For the past seven years, Despina has divided her time between Athens and Gothenburg, where she lives with her Swedish husband, musician Erland Hilden. Her artistic activity includes four solo exhibitions and five group exhibitions in Sweden (Gothenburg, Torsby, Lisvik, Sunne). This is Despina’s first time participating in a painting exhibition in Greece.
