Alexandra Bandalouka was born in Arta, where she lived until the age of eighteen. She studied Economics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and continued postgraduate studies in New York. She initially worked at the Ministry of Industry, from which she resigned in order to work at the National Bank of Greece, from which she retired. Since 2010 she has been systematically engaged with painting, attending courses in workshops and seminars in art history in Thessaloniki and Athens, where she has been living in recent years. She has taken part in group exhibitions in Greece and abroad. The Music and Philological Association “Skoufas” in Arta hosted a retrospective solo exhibition of her work. Her works are included in private collections.
