Evangeli Karangeli was born in Athens in 1971 and lives in Larissa. She graduated from the Athens School of Fine Arts in 1998, specialising in Painting, with teachers Panagiotis Tetsis and Rena Papaspyrou. She attended the Scenography Workshop of the School of Fine Arts under Giorgos Ziakas, and was also a student at the Larissa Municipal Gallery in the departments of Icon Painting, Printmaking, and Ceramics. She is a member of the Hellenic Chamber of Fine Arts, the Association of Art Education Teachers, and a founding member of the Larissa Visual Artists Association “8”. She has presented her work over the years in group exhibitions of the Athens School of Fine Arts, the Larissa Municipal Gallery, and the Larissa Visual Artists Association “8”. Since 2019 she has maintained a consistent presence in major exhibitions in Athens, Larissa, and Thessaloniki. Since 1999 she has worked as a visual artist and educator, and since 2004 she has held a permanent active teaching position in secondary education as a Fine Arts teacher under the Ministry of Education in the regional unit of Larissa.
