Michail-Nektarios Komporozos is a young artist born in 2006 in Agrinio. He is a graduate of the Department of Applied Arts (2nd EPAL of Agrinio) and holds a diploma in Graphic Arts. He studied for ten years under ceramist-sculptor Fotini Katsira, graphic artist-visual artist Christina Blachoura, and award-winning sculptor Dimitrios Stoumbos from Agrinio. He has presented his work in 11 group exhibitions of sculpture, ceramics, and painting in exhibition spaces in Agrinio. He has engaged in academic drawing (currently preparing for the entrance exams of the Athens School of Fine Arts), scenography, mural painting, and the construction of art installations. Since the age of 4, he has been sculpting using any available material (plasticine, clay, fabric, wire, wood, metal, paper). He especially loves construction materials and repurposes objects, giving them new meaning in his sculptures (wire, iron rods, metal components, driftwood, tools, ropes, tile adhesive, newspapers, etc.). He draws inspiration from nature, global mythology, and cinema.
