Olga Barmazi is a painter, a graduate of Katerina Rota’s School of Fine and Decorative Arts and the Vortex School of Artistic Jewelry. She also holds a degree in Political Science from the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and is in the final stage of a Joint Postgraduate Program in Creative Writing. Since 1997, she has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Greece and abroad \[Europe, USA, Japan, and Australia]. Her works have received awards in international painting competitions and are part of private collections. Since 2007, she has been teaching painting to children and adults in the studios of Apothiki Technon AMKE, which she founded, and since 2017 at the Kalogeropoulio Foundation of Arts and Culture in Corinth. She has illustrated six children’s books, designed sets for theatre and dance performances, and created series of artistic jewelry shown in Greece and the USA. In collaboration with composer and pianist Panagiotis Theodosiou, she has produced and curated visual narratives/presentations of music performances in video format. Since 2023, she has been collaborating with the collective ARC – Art Revisited Collective.
