Anna Fragkaki was born and raised in Heraklion, Crete. She is a graphic designer and visual artist with a long standing presence in the field of graphic arts, and her work has travelled throughout Crete, Germany, and France. She has collaborated with Local Government Organisations, creating the visual identity and printed material for summer events, as well as with the “Art on the Street” festivals, producing visual installations for city events. In addition to her studies in graphic design, she attended courses in Art History focusing on major movements in Europe from the late nineteenth century onwards, as well as courses in icon painting, batik, and other techniques. She works with digital art, photography, handmade constructions, painting, and sculpture, but the field that activates her most is conceptual art within visual installations, a medium through which she has participated in numerous actions and festivals. She lives and works in Heraklion, Crete.
