We are pleased to announce today the result of the public vote for the most popular artwork of the group exhibition “New Normal 5: The Blind Spot of the Mirror”, which was successfully held and concluded on Saturday, 14 February 2026.
As part of the exhibition, a process was implemented to highlight the artwork that received the highest public preference through an online vote. From the evening of the opening until the closing of the exhibition, a Facebook album featuring photographs of all participating works was published on ARTgrID’s official page. Audience preference was expressed exclusively through the “Like” reaction on each artwork, until 23:59 on the final day.
Upon completion of the voting process, the Audience Award is presented to Adelina Evro Drenesku for the combined number of votes received by her works “The Mind that Weaves Itself, acrylic on canvas, 60 × 90 cm, 2025” and “Introspective Echoes, acrylic on canvas, 60 × 90 cm, 2024”. Together, the works received a total of 378 reactions (likes, etc.) – votes, placing them first in the audience’s preference ranking.
Adelina Evro Drenesku is a self-taught visual artist from Korça, Albania, where she was born and currently resides. Her artistic expression is rooted in her love for Geometric Abstraction, Cubism, and Surrealism, using acrylic on canvas and paper to bring her ideas to life. Although her professional background is in finance, with a Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting, her true passion lies in exploring the complexities of existence through art. Adelina has been an active part of the Albanian art community, organizing exhibitions for other artists in her former business space and participating in several collective, international exhibitions across the country and Europe . Her work reflects a deep curiosity about the human experience and our place in the world.
The prize consists of a one-year website subscription on the ARTgrID platform, including the design and hosting of a bilingual professional website, as well as promotional and communication services for the artist and her work, with a total value of €610. We warmly congratulate Adelina Evro Drenesku on this distinction and on the response her work received from the public.
Within the coming days, we will be in contact with her to arrange the process for granting and implementing the prize.
