Curated Group or Collective Exhibitions
ARTgrID undertakes the full organisation of Group and Collective Art Exhibitions on behalf of artist groups, collectives, and organisations (such as non-profit civil companies, social cooperative enterprises, and associations), with a physical presence at collaborating galleries in Athens.
Both types of exhibition are accompanied by online exhibitions in Greek and English, and a bilingual commemorative catalogue-book is published in digital format.
Group Exhibition
(informally formed group of artists)
Key Features:
– Coordination through a single representative of the group
– Sales processing through ARTgrID – enabling legal sales and sales processing for non-professional artists as well
Collective Exhibition
(organised by an organisation or legal entity)
An exhibition organised by a legal entity, such as a non-profit civil company, social cooperative enterprise, or association, on behalf of its members.
Key Features:
– Coordination through a single representative of the organisation
– A unified curatorial framework for the entire exhibition
– Sales processing through ARTgrID, either individually or through the legal entity, by arrangement
– ARTgrID can provide guidance on the appropriate invoicing or tax management procedures, as well as Accounting Support
Cost
The cost for both types of exhibition is determined by the total number of artworks and the duration of the exhibition, regardless of the number of artists (the duration is calculated from the opening date through the final day the exhibition is open to the public, and all days are calendar days).
– Exhibition with up to 40 artworks: €2500 for 9 days | €4000 for 18 days
– Exhibition with more than 40 artworks: from €4300 for 9 days | from €5200 for 18 days
The prices stated above do NOT include VAT.
Services
(common to both types of exhibition)
– Gallery assignment and agreement with a collaborating gallery
– Exhibition curation by an Art Curator
– Exhibition installation and deinstallation
– Concurrent online exhibition, extended for up to 1 month from the opening date
– Curatorial statement for the exhibition
– Press Release and distribution to the media
– Promotion through ARTgrID’s social media
– Media Sponsors
– Professional invitation and poster in digital format
– Exhibition catalogue-book in digital format, permanently available via a dedicated link for download or online viewing
– Photography of the exhibition opening
– Social Media Campaign (including a Facebook Event)
– Sales processing with a commission ranging from 20% to 40% (depending on the terms and conditions of each gallery), both during the physical exhibition and throughout the extended online exhibition period
Additional Services
(optional, at an additional cost)
• Printing & framing of digital artworks and photographic works (by arrangement)
• Reception / standing event at the exhibition opening (with food, wine, etc.)
• Video coverage of the exhibition opening and the exhibition
• Design/production of a printed exhibition catalogue in book format
Application Submission Process
For Group Exhibitions
Please submit:
(1) 1 to 3 works by each artist you propose for participation, with each work provided as a separate high-resolution .jpg image file. Works on paper should be photographed without a frame or glass. Artwork details should refer to the corresponding file name (e.g. A1.JPG) and should be listed in the following order, separated by commas: Artist’s full name, Title of work, Materials and technique, Dimensions (in centimetres, Height X Width), Year of completion.
(2) A brief description of the exhibition theme or concept (if applicable)
(3) Full name, email address, and mobile phone number of the group’s representative
(4) The location where the group and/or its members are based
For Exhibitions Organised by Legal Entities
(Non-Profit Civil Companies, Social Cooperative Enterprises, Associations)
Please submit:
(1) A brief presentation of the organisation/legal entity
(2) A description of the exhibition proposal
(3) A sample of 10 works you intend to include in the exhibition, with each work provided as a separate high-resolution .jpg image file. Works on paper should be photographed without a frame or glass. Artwork details should refer to the corresponding file name (e.g. A1.JPG) and should be listed in the following order, separated by commas: Artist’s full name, Title of work, Materials and technique, Dimensions (in centimetres, Height X Width), Year of completion.
(4) Full name, email address, and mobile phone number of the organisation’s representative
(5) The location where the legal entity is based
(6) Please let us know whether the legal entity is able to conduct sales.

Timeline – Availability
ARTgrID will respond within 10 working days of receiving all the required information. One of our representatives will contact you by phone as soon as possible for any necessary clarifications, after which you will receive a detailed exhibition proposal by email. The exhibition date will be proposed based on gallery availability and will fall within a period of 3 to 18 months following receipt of your request.
Please note that, alternatively, we may be able to organise and support an exhibition at a venue of your own, although this option is subject to specific terms and conditions on a case-by-case basis.
