Katerina Charitopoulou is a visual artist and sculptor based in Larissa. She was born in Vienna and studied Graphic Design in Thessaloniki. Since 2006, she has devoted herself systematically to sculpture, developing a distinctive visual language centred on wire as her primary material. Her work focuses mainly on the human figure, exploring movement, gesture, physicality, and emotional expression through minimal, abstract compositions. She also creates handcrafted artistic jewellery in silver and bronze. She has presented her work in solo and group exhibitions in Greece and abroad, and her works are held in private collections in many countries. She lives and works between Larissa and South Pelion.
