Katerina Spyropoulou was born in Athens, where she lives and works. She is a Civil Engineer with postgraduate studies in environmental design. Since childhood she has been engaged in the arts. Since 2013 she has participated in artistic photography workshops. During 2014-2018, as a member of the “camera-work” team, she focused on street photography. In 2018-2019 she studied at the Hellenic Centre of Photography. Since 2019 she has been working on self-portraiture. In 2021-2022 she completed the annual study program at HCP. Since the summer of 2022 she has been attending the program “Photography: Images and Techniques” at the University of San Diego, California, in order to obtain a professional certificate. She has exhibited her work in one solo exhibition and 38 group exhibitions and international art events in Spain, Italy and Greece. She has published two photobooks.
