Elena Pouli was born in Athens and grew up in Nea Smyrni. She is a graduate of the Department of Conservation of Antiquities and Works of Art with specialization in icons. Initially she engaged with Byzantine iconography and painting on canvas, while later she turned to graphic design, completing a one year program in Computer Graphics and Web Design. She worked for several years in graphic design, specializing in instructional design and the creation of e learning courses. Holder of a postgraduate degree from the program “Graphic Arts – Multimedia – MA” of the Hellenic Open University, in recent years she has turned to Digital Art and new technologies. She works as a civil servant and NK5 constitutes her first participation in an exhibition.
