Kostas Michos is a visual artist whose main means of expression are painting, drawing, and the visual object. He was born in 1978 and grew up in Nea Smyrni, Athens. He is a graduate of the Department of Painting, Sculpture, and Art History of the private Vakalo School, while previously he also apprenticed alongside the painter Chronis Botsoglou. A person of depth with historical, folkloric, and philosophical interests, he studied at the Department of Balkan, Slavic, and Oriental Studies of the University of Macedonia and obtained a postgraduate degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with a focus on “Educational Technology and Human Resource Development”. Kostas Michos follows a dual professional path. Alongside Art, he is a police officer, within whose ranks he pursues his professional career. As a visual artist, he has presented his work in three solo exhibitions, and his works belong to private collections. Kostas Michos has been collaborating with the collective of visual artists ARC – Art Revisited Collective since December 2021.
