Born in 1974 in Suceava, where he continues to live and work, the artist graduated in 2000 from the “George Enescu” University of Arts in Iași, specializing in sculpture. Since 2003, he has been teaching visual arts at the Theoretical High School Filadelfia, where he also initiated a photography course. His artistic practice investigates the complex interrelationship between landscape and human-made structures, exploring the dynamic ways in which these elements interact and mutually transform one another. Drawing inspiration from diverse sources—including the romantic sensibility of Caspar David Friedrich, the rigor of conceptual art, and the clarity of minimalism—he seeks to generate new synergies between traditional forms and contemporary structures, situating his work within a dialogue that bridges past and present.He has exhibited in many exhibitions in Romania, but his works have also been shown in countries such as Ireland and, more recently, South Korea.
