Olga Barmazi is a painter, a graduate of the School of Visual and Decorative Applications of Katerina Rota and the Vortex School of Visual Jewellery. She also holds a degree in Political Science from the Faculty of Law of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) and a Joint Postgraduate Degree in Creative Writing. Since 1997, she has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Greece and abroad [Europe, USA, Japan, and Australia]. Her works have received awards in international painting competitions and are part of private collections. Since 2007, she has been teaching painting in children’s and adult workshops at Apothiki Technon AMKE, which she founded, and since 2017 at the Kalogeropouleio Foundation for Arts and Culture in Corinth. She has illustrated six children’s books, designed sets for theatre and dance performances, and created series of artistic jewellery showcased in Greece and the USA. In collaboration with composer and pianist Panagiotis Theodossiou, she has developed and curated visual storytelling/presentation of musical performances in video format. Since 2023, she has been collaborating with the ARC – Art Revisited Collective.
