Elena Karali studied Economics and Management, but her need for creative expression led her to the School of Applied Arts, where she specialized in calligraphy and handwritten works. At the same time, she attended Haris Anastasiadis’ Art Workshop, delving into contemporary techniques and artistic experimentation. Starting from script, she explores motion, rhythm, and silence on paper. When not working with ink, she creates with charcoal, capturing organic forms, light, and shadow, always with a love for the letterform. Abstraction and contemporary elements run through her work. Her forms evoke internal landscapes—without narrative, without boundaries; only light and darkness.
