Monday, March 10, 2025 – Painter Alexios Demelis is the newest member of the Ink On Paper community, which highlights visual artists whose primary media of expression are ink and paper.

Alexios Demelis is a self-taught artist based in Thessaloniki, where he lives and works in the field of graphic design. From a young age, he developed a strong interest in painting and the visual arts, which led him on a continuous journey of creativity and self-expression. Since 2012, painting has become his primary means of conveying emotions and thoughts. Using exclusively typographic inks and a spatula, he captures on paper and canvas his inner reflections, experiences, and emotional fluctuations. His work is defined by an abstract expressionist style, marked by vivid colors, dynamic “strokes,” and strong contrasts. He continues to explore new media and techniques, constantly pushing the boundaries of his artistic expression.
