Alexandra Avgerinou was born and raised in Athens. She is studying Mathematics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Over the past year, she has been actively involved in photography, having attended open classes and workshops, and has already participated in two group exhibitions. Her work focuses on uniting different temporal layers—today and yesterday coexist in her images. She is particularly moved by atmosphere, silence, and the subtle human presence in space. Photography is, for her, a means of creative necessity. She views it not as mere documentation but as a pretext for an inner encounter between the individual, time, and memory.
