Manolis Dorgiakis was born in Ierapetra, Crete. He has been involved with painting since childhood. He studied in the Department of Physics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and works as a physics teacher. Initially, he attended painting classes offered by the Municipality of Cholargos, and for the past fourteen years, he has participated in the first painting workshop of the Municipality of Vrilissia. He has taken part in numerous group exhibitions and has also held solo exhibitions.
