Kostas Michos is a visual artist whose main mediums are painting, drawing, and artistic objects. He was born in 1978 and grew up in Nea Smyrni, Athens. He is a graduate of the private Vakalo School’s Department of Painting, Sculpture, and Art History, and previously apprenticed under the painter Chronis Botsoglou. A profound personality with historical, folkloric, and philosophical interests, he studied in the Department of Balkan, Slavic, and Oriental Studies at the University of Macedonia and obtained a postgraduate degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in “Educational Technology and Human Resource Development.” Kostas Michos pursues a dual professional path. Alongside his art, he is an officer in the police force, where he builds his professional career. As a visual artist, he has presented his work in three solo exhibitions, and his works are part of private collections. He has collaborated with the visual artists’ collective ARC – Art Revisited Collective since December 2021.
