Manolis Dorgiakis was born in Ierapetra, Crete, and has been involved in painting since a young age. He studied at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, graduating from the Physics Department, and now works as a physics teacher. Initially, he took painting classes at the painting department of the Municipality of Holargos and has been attending the first painting workshop of the Municipality of Vrilissia for the past thirteen years. He has participated in group exhibitions and held solo exhibitions.
