Tatiana Kassari

Tatiana Kassari was born in Athens. She started her engagement with photography during her studies in Rome. At that time, she worked with black-and-white street photography, using a Russian camera she bought at a flea market. Rome had a profound influence on her artistic path, giving her many stimuli and a new aesthetic approach. Upon returning to Athens, she attended classes at the Photographic Circle. She continued experimenting with new developments and techniques in black-and-white photography until she eventually discovered the exciting world of color photography and digital technology. She lives and works in Athens. She has had five solo exhibitions and has participated in 12 group exhibitions in Athens, London, Venice, and Paris.
