Eleni Karnezi

Eleni Karnezi was born in Athens and grew up with a mother who was a painter, bringing her close to the dynamic world of painting from a young age. For the past fifteen years, painting has been a central activity in her free time. She holds a degree from the Lifelong Learning Center (KEDIVIM) at EKPA in Art History and Fine Arts. She is self-taught but has also worked under the guidance of painters Yiannis Vorgias, Betty Karoussi, Timos Batinakis, Yiannis Petrou, and Yiannis Nomikos, who added to her knowledge and technique, allowing her to define her personal style with precision. Through her work and travels around the world, she has encountered different cultures and been influenced by unique colors and civilizations that have shaped her art. Her works are primarily acrylics on canvas, watercolor paper, and carton, using only spatulas, brushes, and even fingertips. She has participated in many group and solo exhibitions.
