Eleni Lapantzi is a self-taught visual artist with longstanding involvement in painting and sculpture. She holds a law degree from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, a D.E.A. in Education from Universit\u00e9 Paris VIII and a PhD from the Faculty of Law at Democritus University of Thrace. Throughout her career in education, she has used art as a means of communication and inclusion, developing artistic projects with students with and without disabilities. She also worked at the European School of Luxembourg, where, in 1996, an artistic project featuring works by her students was presented in the city’s public spaces and received European recognition. In recent years, she has participated in group exhibitions in Athens and Thessaloniki. Her artistic practice focuses primarily on abstract expressionism, mixed media and sculpture, emphasizing gesture, materiality and experimentation with unconventional materials.
