In 1982 he graduated from the Department of Geology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, in 1985 from the Pedagogical Academy of Mytilene, and worked for 36 years in Primary Education. In 2002 he graduated from the School of Fine Arts of Thessaloniki under the guidance of D. Kontos and T. Makri. In 2005 he completed the Department of Special Education at the Didaskaleio of Thessaloniki and in 2006 the Department of Primary Education at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In parallel he engaged in writing educational books, theatre, short film production, and the writing and illustration of children’s books. In 2016 he was honored by the Hellenic National Commission for UNESCO for his educational contribution. He has participated in five solo exhibitions and numerous group exhibitions.
