Since 1998, she has cultivated a sustained and personal interest in photography. She initially studied under Petros Mitkas, and later under Maro Kouri, with whom she completed a course in self-diagnostic photography, and Tasos Schizas. She has attended workshops in fine art photography and photojournalism in Greece and abroad. She has photographed in numerous countries and has participated in many group and solo exhibitions. In recent years, her photographic exploration has focused on the multiple facets of human existence and on moments, both small and significant, of joy, vulnerability, challenge and dignity. For her, photography is a way of observing the world as well as returning to the self. Through the gaze, the image and the silence of the photographic moment, a space for self-observation emerges, where we can recognize, understand and ultimately accept deeper aspects of our existence.
