Creating a personal website and promoting visual artists
ARTgrID undertakes the promotion of visual artists through leveraging or clearing sales of works, via two alternative basic service packages, which include the creation of a website in the format “https://artgrid.gr/first-name-last-name”:
(1) Direct Comprehensive Promotion
(2) Comprehensive Promotion with Sales Management
- In both cases, your website will be ready and published no later than 10 business days after the contract is signed and all requested materials for its creation have been provided by you.
.1. Direct Comprehensive Promotion (Basic package. All prices include VAT)
ARTgrID undertakes the creation, development, and hosting of an artist’s website featuring photos of their works in the form of an online exhibition with details and specific characteristics. This profile includes -indicatively but not exclusively- a biography, artistic statement, publicity listings, critical texts, videos, catalogs in electronic form, organized presentation of achievements (exhibitions, projects, publications, articles, work presentations, etc.) in a standardized manner following best practices. The company promotes the website through its social media, online advertising, media, email campaigns, and makes sales proposals to private individuals and professionals in Greece and abroad. Additionally, it provides information on opportunities to participate in exhibitions in Greece and abroad organized by its partners. The artist can request changes to the website (removal or addition of works, changes to information or texts, addition of sections not initially included such as videos, etc.) up to 3 times a year, after the first two months of service provision. Direct Sales Under the “Direct Comprehensive Promotion” service package, the company neither manages nor clears sales, which are exclusively and directly managed by the artist, without ARTgrID having any financial claim on the sales (i.e., the sale is not burdened with commission, percentages, etc.). In this case, ARTgrID refers interested buyers to the artist to negotiate directly with them. Pricing Policy The “Direct Comprehensive Promotion” service package is purchased and prepaid for the first year at €520 (price includes 24% VAT). There is a renewal option in the form of an annual subscription for the main package, while additional services are paid separately, at €365/year, which must be agreed upon and paid no later than 10 business days before the expiration of the previous valid contract. Renewal is always annual at this cost, whether the initial subscription was semi-annual or annual. (Basic package – requires that the visual artist has an active professional start. All prices include VAT)
In this basic service package, all the provisions of the “Direct Comprehensive Promotion” basic package are provided, but our company can also fully manage and clear the sales of your works through our platform, internationally, with any legal payment method, and with the following additional terms:
► ARTgrID legally clears and pays the artist, retaining the lowest commission in the Greek market (20%), providing you with all legal documents.
► ARTgrID applies a Dropshipping system (i.e., the works remain in your space and ownership until sold, whereupon our company collects them and takes charge of shipping them to buyers at no additional charge to the artist).
► ARTgrID issues a certificate of authenticity for the works it has managed in the above ways.
Pricing Policy
The “Comprehensive Promotion with Sales Management” service package is purchased and prepaid only on an annual basis (price includes VAT) and for the first year is: €520.
There is an option to renew in the form of an annual subscription for the “Comprehensive Promotion with Sales Management” service package at €365/year, which must be agreed upon and paid no later than 10 business days before the expiration of the previous valid contract.
